Be Ready for: "Why do you want to meet with me?"

Please have your answer to this question.  And, make your answer is telling the truth.  

Asking "Why do you want to meet with me?" is one of the fairest questions a prospect or funder can ask.  The worst thing we can do is hide the truth.  We are in the business of building trusted relationships.  

This question used to cause me trouble. Once I found my words I use them and answer quickly and with confidence.  Your best prospects and funders want to be asked.  They just don't want to work with someone who is trying to hide the fact that they need to raise money.
